This is one of our absolute favorites here at the shop.  It took many hours to perfect the hanging and rigging to get this repurposed antique insulator to hang just right and form a one of a kind pendant light.  Paired with a low voltage candelabra bulb, the warm glow with blue/green accent is very soothing.  To top it off we used UL rated cloth wrapped wire for that period look and in any home, new or old, this repurposed antique insulator pendant light would look perfect. Why use new glass when you can have a piece of history?

We have many available in all sorts of shapes and sizes.  This particular listing is for a Hemingray model 40 hung from approximately 19 inches of putty colored cloth wrapped wire (custom lengths available).  Due to the antique nature of these glass insulators, some more than 100 years old, expect slight flaws such as bubbles, checks, or chips within the glass.  We strive to select only the best antique glass insulators for your fixtures.
